How to Fix a Randomly Shutdown iPad?
Full Reset
Usually, a hard reset will solve this problem. A hard reset is an equivalent of “have you tried turning it off and on again,” but at a much deeper OS level. It usually resets to default values. To perform a hard reset on your iPad using the physical Home button, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for 5 seconds. The iPad will restart, you will see the Apple icon flash, and the iPad will come to life.
Use the Latest OS
Updating the OS to the latest version usually fixes the problem. So when your iPad boots up and works, go to Settings>General?>Software Update And update your software to the latest version.
Charging
If your iPad just doesn't respond and nothing works, just turn on your iPad's charging. And keep it there for about an hour without interfering. If that doesn't work, try using a different cable, a different power adapter, or try charging it from your Mac.
Drain to 0% Then Fully Charge
If the problem is with the battery indicator, the fix is to drain the battery to 0% and then charge it up to 100%.
Restore via iTunes
One of the last ways to do this is to restore data through iPad or computer repair services to a new state through iTunes.
Step 1: Connect iPad to Mac / PC and open iTunes.
Step 2: After your iPad is recognized, enter the section and click “ Backup Now ” first to create a local backup of your iPad.
Step 3: After the backup is complete, click "Restore".
This will start the process of downloading the latest iOS software, completely wiping your device, and installing the new OS on your device. Once this is done, your iPad will be restored to the state it was when you first received it. After the process completes, you'll be asked if you want to restore the backup you made earlier. Once that's done, all of your apps and data are back on your iPad.
